Connect PC to DNS Server Address

If on a PC that have been verified that is functional and have internet connection, a User cannot sign in even when other User are able to, and you see an error message like “we can’t sign you in with this credentials because your domain isn’t available”

Then this means the PC need to obtain the DNS server address by entering the IP address manually.

To perform this task, please follow the instruction below

Instructions

  1. Sign in using the Admin credentials

  2. Open the Control Panel

  3. Click Network and Internet

  4. Click Network and Sharing Center

  5. From the option on the right side section, click Change adapter settings

     

  6. Right-click the Ethernet connection, and select Properties

     

  7. From the list of item, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4 and click the Properties button

     

  8. Check-mark the option Use the following DNS server addresses

  9. Enter the Preferred DNS Server address (Ask the IT support team for this information)

  10. Click OK to save

  11. Reboot the PC
    The User will be able to Sign in using the credentials that was provided
