1. Windows 10 & 11 – Set French as Default

A. Change Display Language to French

  1. Open Settings
    Press Windows + I or click the Start Menu and choose Settings.

  2. Navigate to Time & Language
    Click Time & Language.

  3. Select Language
    Click on Language & Region (Windows 11) or Language (Windows 10).

  4. Add French (Canada)

    • Under Preferred languages, click Add a language.

    • Type “French” or “Français”, select French (Canada), and click Next.

    • Check “Set as my Windows display language”.

    • Click Install.

  5. Restart Your Computer

    • Some features will require you to sign out or restart for the changes to apply.
