Sending Voice Broadcast
You can send a voice message in various languages and specify the number of times that message can to be repeated and seconds that is paused before playing the voice message.
To send voice broadcast, follow the steps given below.
Navigate to Voice Broadcasts.
The Voice Broadcasts page will be displayed.Click Voice Broadcast button in the row of the voice broadcast message you wish send.
The Send Broadcast dialog will be displayed.Select the phone from which you wish to send the message from the Caller ID (Send from) drop down list.
Select the required language to send message from the Text-to-Voice Language drop down list. Only applicable if the voice broadcast type is Text to Voice.
Select how many times the message needs to be repeated from the Repeat Msg (# of times) drop down list.
Select number of seconds the message will be paused before playing, from the Pause (# of seconds before playing msg) drop down list.
Specify whether or not you want to rotate through your long codes by checking or un-checking the box in the Rotate through Your Long Codes field.
Useful if you have a large number of option in contacts (>500), you can spread your workload across multiple numbers in your account. If checking, please include your business name in the message. When rotating, the system will automatically rotate through all your numbers assigned to your account, including primary and secondary numbers.Select the rate of sending from the Sending Throttle drop down list.
In the fastest (default setting), you can call every 1 second per long code. However, you can slow that down to exercise extra caution. The slowest setting will send at rate of 1 call every 6 seconds per long code.Enable/Disable IVR Forward to Number.
When enabled, after broadcast the contact will be prompted to enter 1 to speak with a representative. It will forward to a specific numberEnable/Disable Schedule Broadcast
When enabled, select the date/time for your voice broadcast to be sentClick Send Voice Broadcast.
The voice broadcast will be sent to the members of the associated group.
Note: For each outgoing broadcast, 1 credit per minute is deducted from your account.
For Incoming to voicemail/forward, 1 credit to receive the call and 2 credit per minute is deducted from your account
