The SMTP section contains the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) information. In DaFeeder there are a few built-in features that use email settings. Before starting to use these features, configure the SMTP settings in order for the emails to be delivered successfully. Configuring SMTP settings will ensure inbox delivery when sending html messages from campaigns.
To configure SMTP settings, follow the steps given below:
1.  Navigate to SYSTEM > SETTINGS.
The SYSTEM SETTINGS page will be displayed.
2. Click the SMTP tab.
3. Enter the required values in the fields. Refer to the table below for field descriptions:
Field | Description |
Host | Refers to the SMTP host service provider |
Port | Refers to the default and standard port number - 465 |
Username | If applicable, enter the username to login to a user's SMTP account |
Pass | If applicable, enter the password to login to a user's SMTP account |
Encryption | Always use encryption, the default option is SSL |
4. Click Update.
The SMTP settings will be configured.
