This guide will walk explain the steps to managing IP security inside the DaFeeder.

IP Authorization Settings can be found by navigating to SYSTEM >> AUTHORIZATION.

To lock down an IP in the DaFeeder click onĀ  . Once Enable IP Lock has been toggled, it will turn blue indicating IP Lock is active. When active, Dafeeder can't be accessed from any other IP unless added as an authorized IP.

Enable IP Lock When Using Static IP Only

Enabling IP Lock should not be utilized unless Dafeeder is connecting through a static IP. Internet service providers will issue new IPs frequently without informing their client and if this happens Dafeeder will become inaccessible.

Adding an authorized IP can be done by clicking on Add IPv4 Address and enter the IP address and a description if needed. There is no limit on the amount of authorized IP addresses allowed.

See the following as an example:

Remove an IP previously authorized, click Remove and Save Changes.

To allow any/all IP addresses the ability to connect to Dafeeder, Toggle Enable IP Lock until it is grey shaded indicating IP Lock is turned off.
