If you are going to be setting up multiple extensions be sure to repeat steps 5 through 8 |
- Download Bria from the appstore
- Open the application once it is downloaded
- Select OK when prompted "Bria" would like to send you notifications
- Under USER-DEFINED GENERIC ACCOUNTS
Type in your account name for reference purposes- Select "VoIP (SIP) - Calling"
- Under USER DETAILS
- Display As: Leave blank
- Username: your organization number followed by your short extension (XXXX*XXX)
- Password: your extension's password goes into this field
- domain:type sip.melotel.com into this field
- Under VOICE MAIL
- VM Number: type *95
- Select Enabled
- Select Save
- Select < Settings
- Select Preferences
- Under GENERAL
- Select Run in background
- Select <Settings
- Select Advanced Settings
- Select Mobile Audio Codecs
- Disable all except G711u
- Select WiFi Audio Codecs
- Disable all except G711u
- Select Phone in the bottom right corner
