To have access to the DaFeeder, we require every accounts created to have a unique username as well as secure password. For security purposes, we encrypt and store all the passwords but unfortunately, we are not able to retrieve the original un-encrypted password. Thus, when a agent or a representative forget his/her password, they will have to reset it either by contacting MeloTel Support or they are able to do so themselves.

Two ways to reset and change your password without having to contact MeloTel Support.

Method 1 - Resetting Password at Login

This first method of resetting your password is meant for agents and representatives who have forgotten their current one. When the agents are unable to log into the DaFeeder and can't remember their existing password, they will be able to reset the password to a new one by following the steps below:

  1. Click on "Forgot your password?" on the DaFeeder login page (https://subdomain_name.dafeeder.com)

  2. Input Matching Username and Password for the rep's account

  3. After confirming the username and Email and clicking Send Email, you will be redirected to the login page with a confirmation message
  4. ADD STEPS HERE FOR THE NEXT PROCEDURESSSS

Method 2 - Updating Password from User Profile

The second method to modify your existing password is through the DaFeeder after having logged in. The reset is done by following the steps as shown below:

  1. Head to the profile management tab from the dashboard by clicking on the User icon as shown below.
  2. In the subsequent window, the agent is able to manually change his password by confirming his old password and entering the new desired password as shown below.

  3. To confirm the reset of the password, click on the Change Password button.

  4. A confirmation message will then be displayed stating the successful change of the password.
