The User Management page is designed to create, edit and fire users. On the User Management page all active and fired DaFeeder users can be reviewed. The ability to modify basic user information and update user passwords can be found on the User Management page.

User Management page can be found by navigating to System >> User

In the Users section a new users can be added under Add User by filling in the following fields:

First Name*: User first name

Last Name*: User last name

Email*: Must be an email address

Username*: Create a username for the agent to login using. Recommended format for username is the first and last name with no space between. The input value can only contain alphanumeric characters. Example: stevemartin, morganfreeman, etc.

Password*: Create a strong password to login using for the new user. It is suggested to use a strong password with at least six characters that are a combination of letters in both uppercase and lowercase, numbers and symbols.

Slack User ID: Optional for the user to receive Slack notification. To get a Slack ID or member ID navigate to the user's Slack Profile & Account >> More action >> Copy member ID

Privilege: Choose the level of access the user should be assigned from the drop down menu

  • Caller: it's set by default. Limited settings privilege. Able to make calls and can only see their own calendar
  • Manager: able to manage campaign settings (add and list campaign, and manage Provinces recording). Can see other Caller Agents calendar
  • Owner: full control in the DaFeeder. Able to manage all campaign and system setting

Language Barrier Queue: Default it's NO, but if the User can speak in another language select YES. For more information about Language Barrier Queue click here

Fields marked with * are required fields.

Below Add User is Extension Registration, and this includes the Extension number and an optional extension password.

When all the required information is filled in, click on Add User to save.

User Search

In User Search access quick search for a user by typing in their name or extension, all active profiles containing the searched criteria will be displayed. If searching for a fired user the Fired User field will need to be expanded to display the results.

Active Users

Under the Active Users this will display all the active profiles in DaFeeder. This section will not display any inactive user profiles.

Fired Users

This section displays all fired users in DaFeeder. When a user is fired, they will not be able to login into the DaFeeder and their private callbacks will go back into the campaign as public callback.

To reinstated a fired user, select their profile and change the fired user's password, this will activate the account again.

 Billing is based on Active user accounts. Fired Users will not be billed.

Edit User

By selecting a specific user, the Edit User window will popup and here an the user can be edited, fired, view assigned agents or assign new agents and view user management history.

To change the password for the user, you must type the desire password and then click the (Change) located next to Password

Assigning Agents

To assign an agent or agents to a manager, select the manager who requires this access and look for the Assign Agents section. In the list of agents available, select all the representatives the manager should be able to view all private callbacks for.

This will allow the Manager to track all private callbacks for an Agent.

Example: the User Example Caller will see the call back that Agent MeloTel Support sets on the calendar.

The User Management History indicates any changes that occurred to the specific user, displaying the date of the change, by who and what type of change.
