This guide will give an overview of the different functions of the System Settings page. Please note that only users with Privilege level 'Owner' in DaFeeder are able to navigate to this page.

System Settings page can be found by selecting System >> Settings.

Within the System setting, there are different tabs that perform specific task and each will be explain below.

Core

The Core setting is necessary to connect the DaFeeder instance with an organization's telephone system. Having set the Core settings is how calls get passed through DaFeeder to the representative's calling device. These setting are managed and updated by the support team.

SMTP

This is where Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) information is entered. This setting configurations connects DaFeeder to an email hosting provider.

Feeding

These setting should be updated by the Support team only.

The Lead Timeout is where the timer before a lead timeouts can be modified. When a lead timeouts, it will take the user back to the blank 'Select a campaign and start feeding screen'.

The Dialing Number Threshold would not allow an agent to call a number more than once within a specified amount of seconds. so the amount of seconds in this section represents the time limit between the calls for a predetermine number of seconds to elaspes.

Engine

If you are experiencing problem with the feeding page but everything else works fine, this probably mean the engine has failed. To solve this, you need to click on Restart Engine

This should only be use when you are experiencing problems or slowness with the feeding page (loading a lead, dispositioning a lead or direct viewing a lead).

Restarting the engine makes sure that the feeding page work properly again, it also interrupts all leads being viewed, and they become undispositionable. Therefor, after an engine restart all users must refresh the feeding page

It is important to note that changes made on this page will affect the way DaFeeder behaves/functions.
