To set up call recording for a province, you need to fill out the ADD PROVINCE section. Enter the name of the Province/State, choose between yes and no for call recording, select the starting hour and click on Add Province to save.
To keep track of the different places that have different laws against or for call recording you can add them here.
By adding a province with recording or without recording, an agents extensions will follow what is determined for all calls made based on what is determined when the campaign is uploaded.
Add Province
- Province/State Name: to identify each Province with their respective call recording and starting hour settings.
- Call Recording: from the drop down menu, select Yes to enable or No to disable . For example; in Ontario it is legal to record phone call, so you will select Yes, but in Alberta it is illegal for call recording, therefor you will select Nocall recording made from an agent's extension. Legalities of call recording should be investigated and followed prior to adding the Province/State.
- Starting hours: this is the earliest period of which agents are permitted to load the campaign in their own timezone using a 24 hour clock format. For example; Assuming you are Assume calling is initiated from Ontario, you want to start calling leads within Ontario after 9 AM, businesses do not typically open until after 09:00 so calling stating hour should be set to 09:00. Since Alberta is 2 hours behind, you will set up Alberta for 11 AM :00 EST, meaning calls in Alberta will start 9:00 AM GMT.

Within the Province The Provinces section it displays all the Provinces/States that you have enabled/disabled call recording for in the past. This is where you can authorize call recording for each Province/State have been created and their call recording status. Province/States after creation can be modified by clicking Edit or to remove removed by clicking Delete.
When uploading a campaign you can assign it to a Province/State and DaFeeder will follow if recording is on or off based on what you previously set it as in the Province section.
