When a DaFeeder user requires a password reset for any reasons (e.g. forgot password, lost password, wants to change to a new one, etc), he/she is able to do so in the DaFeeder itself.
There are two three ways to reset and change the password without having to contact MeloTel Support (one requires having an Owner user in the DaFeeder).
Method 1 - Resetting Password at Login
This first method of resetting your password is meant for agents and representatives who have forgotten their current one. When the agents are unable to log into the DaFeeder and can't remember their existing password, they will be able to reset the password to a new one by following the steps below:
Step 1 - Click on "Forgot your password?" on the DaFeeder login page (https://subdomain_name.dafeeder.com)
Step 2 - Input Matching Username and Password for the rep's account
Step 3 - After confirming the username and Email and clicking Send Email, you will be redirected to the login page with a confirmation message
...
The second method to modify an existing password is through the DaFeeder after having logged in. The reset is done by following the steps as shown below:
Step 1 - Head to the profile management tab from the dashboard by clicking on the User icon as shown below.
Step 2 - In the subsequent window, the agent is able to manually change his password by confirming his old password and entering the new desired password as shown below
Step 3 - To confirm the reset of the password, click on the Change Password button.
Step 4 - A confirmation message will then be displayed stating the successful change of the password.
Method 3 - Get Owner role user to reset password
The third and last method of changing a user's password is to get another user having the role of Owner perform the change for the agent requesting for the password change.
Step 1 - Get to the Users page by hovering over SYSTEM and then click on USERS
Step 2 - In the ACTIVE USERS sidebar, click on the user requesting for a password change. In this example, we will be using the user Caller One.
Step 3 - Input the new desired password of the user and when done, click on to complete the set up.
